When VLS rebranded to Banking Works, they knew it was the right decision in order to offer banks and lenders a wider range of consultancy, technology, data and outsourcing expertise to help them grow and compete in a changing world.
However, Banking Works was more than just a brand refresh. It was a rallying cry for a company that’s totally in sync with the emerging needs of its industry, its clients and the wider financial landscape.
And it’s why we gave them a tone of voice that would ensure they talk to people in the right way. This would usually mean keeping their writing professional and consistent. After all, every company wants to create the impression that it speaks with a single, strong, clear voice. But, of course, Banking Works isn’t like any other organisation. It’s a business transformed. Which means their written communication required a very different tone that would shift the mindsets and attitudes of people, both internally and externally.
Whether it’s through their website, blogs or posts, every word had to be viewed as an opportunity to make a real connection with someone.
